Providing a holistic approach to maximize your child’s overall development

Here at Little Seedlings Early Learning Center, our learning facilities are guaranteed to be safe, clean, and well maintained at all times as we are aware how children between these ages can have a tendency to crawl and pick up whatever they may find in order to feed their curiosity. Our educational programs are geared towards developing your child in all aspects. These include developing their skills in music, movement, literacy, and visual arts every single day.

Learning programs in our child care center are:

Specialty classes we offer include:

Buttercups Curriculum
Buttercups is adaptable for children between the ages of 6 months – 36 months. Buttercups® offers interactive fun and activity kits that will develop a child’s gross and fine motor skills, as well as provide music, language, art, cognitive, social, and sensory experiences.
Infants & Toddler Movement Classes
The creative movement classes taught by Ms. Tina integrates music, rhythm, imagination, and various props (scarves, egg shakers, etc.) to help develop gross motor skills, listening and following directions, spatial awareness, and turn-taking, as well as helping them explore their creativity and natural inclination to move and dance. We use music from various cultures and percussions, and we encourage our young children to sing songs. Movement class helps with physical, mental, and social development in a fun and learning manner.
“Coyote Pups” Music for Infants & Toddler

Done by instructor Mr. Hank Wagner himself, the songs here are meant to reflect many cultures and song styles. Many of the songs are timeless classics that we and our grandparents may have sung as children. While some of these songs may not be in your child’s native language, we believe that early exposure to multiple languages and cultures has a powerful developmental effect on young children that will serve them for the rest of their lives. In addition to singing songs with the children, we will also take time to play some basic music games that will help develop your child’s mind, motor coordination, and social skills. Some of the areas of child development that these songs and exercises will help strengthen are:

  • Motor Skills
  • Hand/Eye coordination
  • Rhythm
  • Pitch and melody
  • Sequencing
  • Memorization
  • Listening and waiting turns
  • Following directions
  • Concentration and focus
